Ch-Ch-Changes

There are some major changes happening at Tusker House.  The success of the site has been very good for me personal, so good that I am no longer able to dedicate the time necessary to keep the site running in its current form.  Here’s a run-down of what’s changing and what’s staying the same.

What isn’t changing at all is the usual coverage of games and roster changes.  I still get all the injury news as its released to the press.  I’ll be posting on it.  I’ll still be doing the liveblogs, hopefully along with Kip Watson, producer extraordinaire.  Essentially, much of the great content that makes Tusker House what it is isn’t going away.

You may have already noticed the biggest changes, the removal of the Roster and Stats pages.  The simple reality is the UFL has finally caught up in their web efforts.  Those pages are no longer necessary.

The other major change you’ll see is the defacto end of practice coverage, at least the frequency.  The season is winding down, so there’s little information to gain.  On top of it, the volunteer staff member (and my inside source for info) supporting the media at practices is no longer with the team.  He’s moved on to his day job with the resurgent Orlando Predators.  Combine the two and you have a tough situation for visiting media.  I’m still going to try and make it out to practice once a week, but I can’t make any  promises.  I know how much you guys love those pictures though, so I’m going to do my best.

I hope to have a more detailed explanation of this wonderful new opportunity, but nothing is set in stone yet.  Loyal readers, I thank you in advance for your understanding.
